Ex keeps coming back?

so basically me and this guy met like two years ago because my stepsister was dating a guy and I saw this guy at the race track and he saw me and he asked my sisters boyfriend for my snap so I added him one day then the next month after started talking then we dated then he broke up with me cause we never saw each other then I blocked him then unblocked him two months later then we started talking on and off back and forth and we always go back to each other but now he's talking to someone so I unadded him again then he keeps adding me and its on and off everyday and I really only ever felt comfortable around him but I'm scared if I go back its gonna be the same but I feel like were meant someday which sounds weird but we always go back and it ends are talking over dumb little things and everyone says were cute together but I don't know
