My ex texted my friend saying he's worried about me and if im ok. U see I went Mia on social media when he left me. I am really hurt this is is one relationship that really left an impact on me because I love him so dearly. But I cut a contact not to move on but to heal and remember the lame reasons he used to break up with me. It really left me with 0 confidence. Now he's messaging my bestfriend asking if I'm ok and expressed that he's worried about me. What is he upto, or does he genuinely care? I know you wouldn't exactly know but what does ur expe say?

Since you went MIA as a result of the breakup, I’m sure he’s genuinely worried because it shows how hard you’re taking it. Breaking up doesn’t mean he doesn’t love and care about you, but a relationship just isn’t working right now for whatever his reason was.

I don't know your personality or how you act when you're upset, so you must act like you disappear when you're sad so it would be concerning to anyone who was close to you for a few years. just know that he cares about your wellbeing and if he wants to know just say you need time to reset yourself and need the time alone to heal.

Could care or its an attempt to keep you hanging around and pining after him so that if things don't work out for him in his current relationship (if he has one) then he can circle back to you and you'll beg to get back together. Just a hunch.
