I encountered my ex. Awkward. What do I do?

We live in the same compound. I was walking my dog 2 says ago and he was standing there. My dog liked him and tried to go to him but i kept pulling him away. We ended things almost a year ago but occasionally say each other around. He looked like he wanted to speak to me that day. I kind of want to see him again. What do i do and what should i say to him?

Well. I don’t know walk your dog and see if your dog goes up to him and you can say something like. My dog really seems to like you.

Talking to someone after a while can be hard. But seems you missed a perfect opportunity if you wanna talk to him. Oh well we all have done it.
