I sent my ex a whats app and then deleted it last week?

I was just upset and stupid and I reached out and then realised it was wrong so I deleted the message and blocked him.
But he emailed me a week later saying why did I what’s app him.
I’m not going to reply to him because It will just bring me down more by either being ignored or hurt by him.
I just want to move on in a healthy way and stop making mistakes like this as he wasn’t good for me.
And told me he has a girlfriend.
