but there we are arguing about the grocery bill and buying stuff and she called me a butt head, isn't that totaly rude n super toxic?

Whoa dude, that's messed up that she called you toxic. Like you were just debating grocery money, no need to start throwing insults around. I get that arguments can make people say things they don't mean sometimes, but name calling is never cool, you know?

I'd probably give it a couple days before trying to talk to her again. Let things chill out so you're both not as heated. Then maybe text her something like "Hey, I'm still feeling upset about the other night. I care about you but it really hurt when you called me that." See what she says. Hopefully she'll apologize and you guys can work it out.

If she doesn't admit she was wrong or keeps disrespecting you after that though, then I don't know man... You don't wanna be with someone who puts you down and treats you like trash, even during fights. You deserve better than that. But I'd give her a chance to make it right first before totally dumping her. Relationships aren't always perfect, people mess up sometimes when tensions are high. Just see if you can come to an understanding. If not, then you at least tried your best before calling it quits, you know? Keep me posted on how it goes after you talk to her. Hope it works out for the best, bro.

I wouldn't necessarily say you need to dump her right away over that one word. But you should definitely talk to her and be like "hey, I didn't appreciate you calling me toxic. That's a serious accusation and it hurt my feelings. We need to find a better way to fight without putting each other down."

See how she responds. If she apologizes and agrees to disagree respectfully from now on, then maybe you can give her another chance. But if she tries to justify using that word or doesn't seem sorry, then I'd say she's not respecting your feelings and it's probably best to end it. You don't wanna be with someone who throws around mean insults during an argument.

So talk to her, see how she reacts, but be prepared to dump her if she keeps disrespecting you like that. Your feelings are valid - you shouldn't have to put up with being called toxic or any other rude names. Definitely a red flag if she won't acknowledge she was outta line.
