When a relationship dies and life moves on, all that remains are the "good o'l days". This false ghostly image of a long dead relationship in a person's mind contains only the good things that happened and eagerly promises "they can happen again", when in reality nothing is further from the truth.
When you resurrect a dead relationship, you bring back all the bad things with it and combine it with the version you are today. Rarely does this ever work out and you end up worse then before.
Leave the past in the ground and linger not for long by the grave. They were lessons not life sentences.
After 10 years you're in a very different stage of your life; Especially when you're young, you might be longing back to simpler days and when you think about that; Your ex was there at the time
