My ex girl friend stood me up, after I drove two states to see her and she still wants me in her life as a friend, am confused, why would anyone be friends with a person they stood up

Because they are selfish and only thinking about what they want but not how their actions affect those around them. Did she bother to apologize? And if she did, was it more to keep you in her life or because she was sincerely sorry?

Of course, not knowing the details, I can base my conclusions on conjecture and could be way off.

I know I told her I don't want to be friends, I said we could be just associates, but she didn't want to, but I want to make her jealous, should I tell her that I accept the break up and it was best for me because if forced me to attend a four year college in which she didnt, by good things happening in my life shouldn't that make her jealous and have a second thought

i know, I didn't contact her for a year, she contact me on Facebook on my birthday, that didn't go well, a few months later I contact her asking why she contacted me, she deny it again, I just don't get her, she really wants to be in my life that bad
