I have been complimented on my looks by a lot of guys saying how I should try becoming a model. I am 5'10", blonde, blue eyes with a slim body frame. my boyfriend is rather above average looking, he has dark brown eyes and hair and is 5'11". So considering this mismatch of attractiveness, i would like to know if I should breakup with him.

So far with both exes I've had, we tried to be friends and it just went up in flames. Definitely didn't work at all. I always thought I could be friends with exes... but it's soooo hard.

For reference, we were together 2 years, we broke up last August, we haven't spoken in 4 months (we agreed on no contact for a few months), and he's convinced that we're getting back together even though I told him I'm not interested. He's very "persistent" (read: doesn't take my 'no' for an answer) and it actually took me about 4 attempts to finally manage to leave him.

Anyway, I got flowers delivered to my house on Valentine's Day, with no tag. I figured they were from my ex, since I couldn't think of any other reason they wouldn't have a note or tag on them... I am seeing someone else currently, but he doesn't know my address, so I knew they weren't from him. Anyway, I called the florist yesterday and they confirmed that my ex ordered the flowers.

So what do I do? Both my parents said I should text him "thanks" because it's the proper thing to do or whatever. And I do feel guilty that he spent money on that. But all my friends say (and I agree) that it took me enough effort to get distance from him, so opening up contact with him would just open up a door that took forever for me to close. Any time I show him kindness or politeness, it just takes even longer to shake him. All he cares about is what he wants. Doesn't matter that I've made it clear I don't want to get back together. If I text him "thanks," I just know he'll take it the wrong way.

Tl;Dr: Clingy ex sent me flowers in an attempt to get me to talk to him because he wants me back and won't take "no" for an answer.

I was watching part of this video where two exes got to ask each other questions with a lie detector. It seems towards the end of their relationship the two had been going at it on social media back and forth until they ended it. Sometime after this couples break up, the woman was riding her horse when it freaked out and she basically threw herself off the horse at high speed causing some type of temporary brain injury/memory loss. All she could really remember at the time according to doctors were bits and pieces of things including her ex which she was asking for in hospital. The woman's boss called her ex, told him she was in hospital and would he come see her, and he literally said to the boss, why are you calling me, we broke up, bye. He said to her with the lie detector that he didn't know how bad it was, and that he thought that she wouldn't want to see him, despite the boss telling him she was asking for him, and that he did regret that.

What would you have done? Would you visit a recent ex in the hospital in that situation, or once you break up, it's over, you're done with them and their life, and you would have done the same thing he did.

I was dating this guy, but ended things because he didn't know what he wanted. Now, I realized that I still like him very much and still want to be with him, despite his faults. Anyhow, I found out through mutual friends that he is seeing someone. It's not serious afaik, and apparently she is moving too fast for him - she's treating it like a long-term relationship. But he's just going to treat it as something meaningless to him (as told by mutual). I also found out that he did regret losing me, but didn't understand why I ended things. We were together for almost a year, and after I ended things, he got with her soon after, and a lot of people were surprised by that. He also met her on Tinder, so it wasn't like he knew her before. Anyhow, I contacted him recently, just to catch up. Not once did he mention the other girl he was seeing (bad or good sign?). Secondly, he hasn't initiated any texts with me (mostly bad), but responded to all of the texts I sent him. He also hasn't declined any requests to meet up, but he's kind of flakey for example, "I'm pretty busy this weekend, but I might be free blah blah" Our relationship didn't end on bad terms either. But I'm afraid he didn't take this break as serious as I did, and just found another rebound to shut his emotions away. We have plans to meet up soon, but I don't plan on bringing the other girl up at all. Also, it's weird because the girl and I have the same first name.. (like what). And if we do meet, I am going to just play it cool, not going to bring up any relationship stuff or anything serious like that.

TL;DR: Guy I dumped got a rebound girlfriend, can I steal him back?

Anyhow, I miss him, and cherish what we had, so is it possible to start over with him even though he's seeing someone else? Or should I just leave him be with this new girl?

I'm not going to go into too much detail! But, basically my boyfriend well ex. left me for someone else. And now they're not together anymore. Would it be weird if I contacted the girl. I mean... I'm just hoping maybe a friendship might could come of it? Or just to let her know he was a jerk. And she wasn't the only one he did that way! (He was a major player!)

Majority of the time, hearing people talking about their guy playing a video game. It always seems to be either Call of Duty that they're addicted too or some other Xbox game. So it's never the types of games I've ever cared about and find it some what funny. XD

So this guy named Kian and I are both freshman in college and we have been dating for a few weeks. This past Friday we both went to a party and got pretty drunk. When I showed up to his frat house, I found him but then didn't see where he went so I got scared that he had gone to the third floor with some other girl but he had just gone to sleep. I wasn't going to go to bed so I stayed up and all of my sorority sisters had left because I told them I wasn't going to leave without Kian, so I leaned onto my two friends Riley and Isaiah for support because I was pretty much left by myself since Kian was asleep in another room. During that time, Riley who is my (ex) boyfriend's best friend was trying to kiss me because he was just as drunk as me if not more. I had told him that it would be wrong to do that to my boyfriend, but other people in that house had spread a rumor that we had made out and my boyfriend got really pissed. We decided to go home and Kian would not talk to me so I called him the next morning and thought everything would be ok if I just talked to him about what happened but before I could he broke up with me and told me things were over between us because of what he heard. It's been a day since we've talked becaue I'm trying to give him time to cool off, but eventually I am going to talk to him and tell him my side of the story. He hasn't changed our relationship on Facebook yet so I'm hoping that's a sign that he's not completely done with "us" yet.. I honestly am so upset right now because I don't want to lose him and I just want to work things out without having to go through an actual break up. What do you think I should do with this whole situation? Anything helps, thank you!

We broke up 9 months ago. he had cheated on me and lied about it and then decided he didn't want to be with me. I was a mess, cried, called him, texted him, begged for him back, and to no prevail. I was finally able to cool down and give him space, and we began hanging out again. however, I basically became his doormat as he was only using me for sex. now he has cut all ties, blocked me on all social media, and says things are done for good. what can i do to gain my dignity back? will he always think of me as a woman who does not respect herself?

Broke up 3 months ago, been in no contact and in limited contact.(he did the breaking up, said he loved me but wasn't happy the last couple weeks and he didn't know why) I text him a few weeks back asking does he want to collect his things or will I drop them off and he didn't reply. Should I ask him again/how do I go about giving Him his stuff back? (Im not throwing them out or giving them away, he has something very sentimental here from his father who passed away so I want to give it him and wouldn't feel good giving it away) bare in mind he knows I still love him because I drunk text him last week and he replied so I dont know how to approach this again? I was thinking of just showing up and giving them to him because he probably won't reply if I ask him again but scared he will annoyed , why did he not text me back?

Ok so me and my ex had been dating for 7 months when we broke up. I am currently 7 months pregnant and we've been broken up for a month now. He woke up one day acting completely different and distant. I asked him what was wrong but he said he was just stressed. He started going out drinking and being with his family more. I finally understood that he had probably fallen out of love with me. I don't know why but he did, maybe another girl, family issues, etc. He told me that I make him unhappy and that we were better off without each other. We were together on and off for 3 years and had planned on getting married and having a baby. He picked a ring out and starting using pills to make his sperm count higher. He said he wanted to be in our daughters life no matter what. So he wants the child but the mother. I feel like an incubator. This wasn't unplanned and he seemed so happy when I told him. Then one after we broke up, he turned around and said he doesn't think y the baby is his. I NEVER cheated so this hurt very much. We lived together but he's moving out, putting his stuff in storage, and staying with his sister... isn't that a little much? He blames me for our breakup saying I stopped loving him, I changed, I started hating him, I never listened to his problems etc. I was never told about these issues at the time and if so I'm pregnant and my mind is constantly on the baby and work. I just wanted my pregnancy to be one of the happiest times in my life and to share it with the one i started it with. Now it's full of stress and heartbreak. I just don't understand what I did so wrong to have the man i was building a future with leave me...
