HAHAHA!!! This video is hilarious! It's so true! Especially when the people acting rich out themselves about spending their rent money on a pair of shoes.
I used too. I remember the negative stigma from gold diggers. This video, only reinforces the fact that women who refuse to date a guy living with his parrnts do so, because "money is the most important thing" to them.
@genuinlysensitive we'll that's not but most women don't want a guy living with his parents intill he is 30. And I know what a golddigger is. Thank u very much
@Random_chick_2384, I think he was trying to pick up women out of his league. Like women who had there life together (there own place, car, & career) and wanted someone who was the same.
@genuinlysensitive, I know guys who won't date a girl unless she has a car. So are they gold diggers?
@SilenRose Interesting how your standards of "leagues" are exclusively materialistic, car, own place, job.
As for those guys, I know of no guy, nor have I heard of ANY guy who would do this, ever.
But if they do there are two possibilities:
1. They are serious, they might be gold diggers, but they are definitely idiots for limiting themselves to women based on something so stupid.
2. They are just not into the girl and instead of having the balls to tell her to her face they come up with some bullshit excuse why they can't date her like she doesn't have her own car.
I had no idea a career, shelter, and transportation were considered materialistic.
How about 3 which is neither. They don't want to deal with girls they have to go and pick up all the time just to hangout. You just refuse to accept people have standards when dating.
I accept it all the time. I have standards as well, I want a woman who actually wants me for me and not for the amount of money that I am willing to spend on her. Some people, including women, are obsessed with exclusively materialistic standards all the time. They are women that men avoid and at best just want for sex.
I guess you mean about the guys? There is a HUGE difference between "hanging out" and dating, every guy I know and know of wouldn't mind picking up a woman if he liked her and she didn't have a car. Don't believe me poll the guys on this site :p You either know some very few exceptions, or they are just not that into the girl.
I would guess 5 and 6 are good reasons. My oldest son lives here. He saves at least $1500 month. He is 26 with about $70k in the bank and I guess he will be a millionaire in his 30s the way he is moving through his career and he already saves $50k a year and he just started. He has litlle interest in women though but doesn have male and female friends. Some will be going to our beach house for the next two weeks. I would prefer him to date but he isn't that interested although not against it.
If he has that much money why has he not moved out yet? #6 is not a good reason to still be living at home because I care about my parents and I am family oriented but moved out 12 years ago.
He was looking to move out earlier this year but we may leave this house now. We dont need to sell so he might want to stay here and pay the taxes etc. He gets a comfortable home with family and saves money so other than girls there isn't a lot of reason to move out. He isn't that very interested in women so he isn't compelled to move. Apartments are about 1,100 plus utilities, cable, food etc and $1500 can be spent easily which is $18k a year, it adds up quick.
To be honest, if a guy is working on his career or skill and still living at home... that's actually a turn on. He probably has similar values to me. #3 though... lol hell no.
Not my thing. I prefer old men in their mid to late twenties and early 30s anyway, I'd think he was a complete loser if he lived with his parents. I want someone well established, and independent. And I want privacy.
No. Just no. And the only time I was caught having sex was by my current boyfriends parents while he lived at home. He was military though and based overseas so didn't make sense. When he came home we moved in together... *shudder*

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha!! Yeah most those points are because someone else is doing it for them. I should write a MyTake that gives the bazillion reasons by a girl should date a guy who owns his own home.
I am dating someone who still lives at home and with his parents. And yes all the points listed above are all true. My boyfriend and I are 33 years old and I kinda like that he's a family type guy. Yes his mom makes his lunch for work sometimes but for sure there's dinner prepared no doubt everyday. I used to be bothered by that before but then I realized it saves me time from having to prepare his meals and lunches to work anyway. Which is great! :P
Yes, I've always felt like I would date someone who lived at home. I have this fantasy about climbing up a lattice and through a window for sneaky make-out sessions. I love that cheesy shit. I doubt I'll ever get to do it though.
@DinosaurRum You and your co-worker don't represent a population. An overwhelming majority of people these days don't have a stable job. Not to mention it's not necessarily the person's fault for NOT finding a stable job. Perhaps you should quit living under a rock.
Also, it's very difficult to find a stable job to work around your school schedule.
Sometimes people have stable jobs, but still live at home with their parents to save up for a nice place or they have student loans because he's educated. :)
Said the 19 year old who was sheltered from the economic collapse. And who should also be in college. Most likely paid for by mommy and daddy. in my opinion, it says more about their parents income if they can live on campus or have their own house or apartment. I knew a kid I worked with at a pizza place who had his own house. He was 20, and his parents bought him a house. Didn't mean he had ambition and a great job. It meant mommy and daddy had money.
I live with my parents because it saves money while I'm working hard towards my engineering degree. I don't care if girls find it attractive or not. I'm not out to impress women at this stage of my life I'm just out to make my life better.
I dated a guy Who lives With his family, he Was so sweet and cute, but the only problem has been That he didn't have his priorities in order.

I wouldn't mind dating a guy who lived off parents ONLY if he was in the process in becoming independent himself such as going to college or saving up to get his own place. I would not want to date a guy who has no ambition to be on his own.
What a load of bs lol. Moving out makes everything soooooo much better. I can't believe it took me that long to move out.

I didn't even know there was such a stigma around guys living at home. Most people here who study in the same city they grew up in don't move out for college.
I couldn't handle the fact that they were letting their parents cook meals for them every night. Plus if that happened the girl would have missed out on what I cooked for dinner tonight
I've seen a ridiculous amount of guys that went and formed just to flunk out because they never went to class. They now have ridiculous debt for nothing.

He can fake being rich I mean he is just 25! Like his life is now just starting.

Wow, I want those 4 minutes and 11 seconds of my life back...
@genuinlysensitive what live yiur parents?
@SilenRose tell me about but apparently some guys really didn't like this video. They have no sense of humor!
I used too. I remember the negative stigma from gold diggers. This video, only reinforces the fact that women who refuse to date a guy living with his parrnts do so, because "money is the most important thing" to them.
@genuinlysensitive okay but this video was sarcasm. Lol
@Random_chick_2384 #Truth
In short a girl who has standards is @genuinlysensitive definition of a gold digger.
@SilenRose hahaha I think that is most men's definition. Lol 😂😂
@Random_chick_2384 I wasn't aware that all women's standards were purely materialistic. by the way, yes that is the definition of a gold digger.
@SilenRose
To clarify, women who have purely materialistic standards, not other standards, are gold diggers.
@genuinlysensitive we'll that's not but most women don't want a guy living with his parents intill he is 30. And I know what a golddigger is. Thank u very much

@apple24 Technology industry. Works for a Fortune 20 firm.

older* men
Lol, old men...
Well, he could live at YOUR house, or are you a complete loser who doesn't have their own place? ;D
No. Just no. And the only time I was caught having sex was by my current boyfriends parents while he lived at home. He was military though and based overseas so didn't make sense. When he came home we moved in together... *shudder*

Doooo it! :)
@BelleGirl21 do I get to include helping sea turtles in it lol :D
Yes! I love that about you! 😊
Reason one: she's might be a gold digger who only cares about money
Reason two: she might have no respect for family, just the kind of girl any guy would want to start a family with right?
I am dating someone who still lives at home and with his parents. And yes all the points listed above are all true. My boyfriend and I are 33 years old and I kinda like that he's a family type guy. It also means he probably doesn't have a stable job, serious turn off.
Who the hell has a stable job at age 19 these days? lol
Lots of people have a stable job when they're 19. I work full time and my coworker is 18, and she's been working since she was 15.
And I agree, it's a serious turn off when someone doesn't have a stable job.
Shouldn't you be in college or something?
You are assuming. The truth is that is quite often not the case
Sometimes people have stable jobs, but still live at home with their parents to save up for a nice place or they have student loans because he's educated. :)
@asker Exactly!

Even if you live at home, no one over like 18 should be depending on their parents to cook their meals and do their laundry.
*at home with your parents
cool that you picked out some pointers but in no way does this compare to dating someone with their own place hahaa.
I live with my parents because it saves money while I'm working hard towards my engineering degree. I don't care if girls find it attractive or not. I'm not out to impress women at this stage of my life I'm just out to make my life better.
It would get old after a while - the whole sneaking around to have sex thing.

The first 3 are in no way attractive qualities to me lol.
Only the first three? lol
@anon1999 I can handle the last 4 ;)
I couldn't handle the fact that they were letting their parents cook meals for them every night. Plus if that happened the girl would have missed out on what I cooked for dinner tonight
Oh I'm not saying it's better. You'd be pretty hard to top @anon1999. A guy who's independent on his oen is much more attractive to me.
how is clean laundry not attractive? Lmaooooooo
@consultantisback clean laundry is very attractive when he doesn't have him mommy doing it for him.
Hahaha. Agreed
nice take... but according to you a guy who still lives at his parents place is the ideal boyfriend material?
She didn't say that. She said it shouldn't be a deal breaker.
@zagor well its not a deal breaker at all
A must for when you're in school, but I don't think many girls prefer it.
I've seen a ridiculous amount of guys that went and formed just to flunk out because they never went to class. They now have ridiculous debt for nothing.
