I thnk it's rude to go out on a date or just hanging out with someone and have someone else pay for you. Expecially since if the guys lucky he will probably get one or two more dates and have spent over a hundred dollars on a girl and get nothing out of it. That a lot of money I don't care if women don't get paid as much, dispite the pay gap most men don't have the money to pay for dates on a regular basis without having to cut back on their expenses.
Did you literally just wake up one morning and have a revelation on why men should pay. Because your reasoning doesn't really make much sense
Also equality is not necessarily measured in financial terms

If equality is treating people the exact same in all situations despite their differences in situation, then I don't want equality.
Look at this:
You have a loaf of bread, and 2 people in front of you. 1 person is starving & 1 person is satiated. Do you give both of them an equal amount of bread? Half & half? Despite their difference in situation? Is that right? Is that fair?
That's why I support equity instead of equality.

Nothing is this MyTake makes sense. At least not to me. I've been taking care of all my expenses for years. If a guy wanted to go out tonight I would most certainly be able to pay for my own meal or even his. I've never felt that I've had more to pay more than guys. It depends on your lifestyle in all honesty. I know plenty of guys who have more to pay for than I do.

Because women have more expenses to pay for than men do, so men paying for dates helps balance that out.

Women who constantly "invest" in clothes, makeup and beauty products do so to gratify their own vanity. They do it because they are self-indulgent. You can't blame men to justify those habits.
You also can't blame men for having periods and spending money on tampons. Mother nature made us that way, deal with it.
And Mother Nature made it so that women are wired to seek mates that provide for them

The analogue to women seeking mates who provide for them is that men seek mates who are youthful and fertile (ie sexy) looking. It'll only be equality to demand riddance of women's financial expectations if we also get rid of men's expectations for youth and sexiness.

Men and women should have equal rights and responsibilities: that's equality before the law. In that sense, if you demand equality but you still expect men to provide for you because you have a vagina, be prepared to stay single.

I think the real question is why do you hate men so much? I never said women shouldn't be equal. But I don't believe in special treatment, and that is what you want. The equality thing pertains more to opportunity rather than trying to justify why men should pay for dates.
It's about giving women the same opportunities as men, not making men pay for all the dates.
If you don't aggressively negotiate for higher pay, are not ambitious in your career, want flexible hours to go home early to be with kids, etc. that's not inequality in pay, that's a lack of ambition.
