Yes he is. But notice how him and Chris are very different and still have fans? That's the point. What is considered high value varies a LOT! It's not just about how you look and what you have is also about who you are.

Mate value refers to physical and emotional value of a ""long-term mate" not someone you want to make more music... That's a small percentage of a small percentage lol. I can guarantee you that a normal guy, in every sense, super average, for a girl that truly loves him for his personality, will see him as more high value than any supposed top tier guy that you are thinking about.

However its impossible to comment on such online and its simply either confusion on your part or an attempt to add confusion to the argument. Of course the hot guy could have a bad personality or be shitty in bed... so could the other dude. No point even commenting on stuff that nobody can see. My only point is what is more valuable to some won't be to others.
Anyone who lives in the either alpha or beta world is just a complete idiot. No one is born predetermined to be either or. Some of these guys actually believe you are born a leader or a follower, but don't realize that leadership is a trait anyone can learn. Obviously people are going to be different, and people are going to have other priorities. Some guys prioritize family or relationships over other things and others prioritize their own interests over everything else. That's not being alpha or beta, that's called freedom of choice and caring about different things. What I say is screw what people or society says, just live your life, believe what you want and do you.

Sadly , when you're in high school you start learning about popularity. And as life goes on you can see how it affects people's lives. How you have developed and what your ethics and morals are, shapes the way you see others. Look at the questions on here as an example. Lonely girls that can't get a date and promiscuous women that sleep with tons of men. Good guys that are alone and other guys that are out there giving it to a bunch of the promiscuous girls. Maybe you see things differently, but in general you're in the minority.
Yet I know a great many highly successful people with many friends who weren't popular in high school, and many people who were popular in high school who are now lonely sad.
The whole system is dynamic. Men are valued for their physical strength, and resources, and women for their beauty and youth, on average. Surely there are countless other factors such as education, same mindset, political views, and personality. But we still behave as per our biological instincts. An attractive bad boy is attractive when women are young but it changes as per age.
Plus women put high effort into their appearance from childhood and most men can't afford that without establishing themselves.
The term "alpha male" is a semantic vagary spawned from social media slang. The only "alphas" are the wise. These semantic vagaries are unhelpful in terms of self-improvement. We should discard these vulgar expressions of greatness and focus on building our character and developing wisdom.

One look at dating app statistics debunks this. Its a truth women don't seem to want to admit because it makes them look bad or shallow but its okay to be honest about your standards. Men aren't stupid (for the most part), they see the inconsistent behavior plain as day from women.
It's not a myth and there's no need to 'debunk' it. You even make historical references, which is not exactly in support of your overall thesis.
Although, I don't subscribe to the greek alphabet hierarchy talk, it's not fair to say it's all hogwash. There are people that swear by it (or pretend to at least). The complexity of life is too much for some groups to handle, so one could regard these extreme simplification attempts as a coping mechanism.

I’ve gone back and forth on the whole “alpha vs beta” male thing over the years. I used to buy into it. Then I realized it’s just an excuse to bully people. Thankfully I’m hearing these labels much less often nowadays. Human beings aren’t wolves.
I can agree with this take, save for one point. Beauty/handsomeness IS NOT entirely subjective. If that were true we WOULD NOT have supermodels that we hold up as ideal physical specimens to which to aspire to.
I do agree physical beauty is fleeting. You may have it today, you may have it tomorrow, but you WILL NOT have it forever.
But still, let's not pretend it doesn't exist or play a very REAL role in partner selection. Lol

I never bought into leagues or alpha men. I try to be the best I can be and when I looked for a girl I wanted to be with I was always concerned with more than looks. Compatibility with my values and likes were more important than cup size.
As for the Animal Farm quote; politicians are a great example. They tell you to wear a mask, but they only wear one when they spot a camera. That's because even though we are all equal, some are more equal than others.
I've been hearing this stupid thing that apparently wearing a mask means you're beta and not wearing one means you're alpha haha. Some people wear them not because they want to but because they are actually looking out for others safety. People are just complete idiots.
