You can but don't be a simp and give money for a girl attending a date. It's basically laying the ground work of you being perceived as beneath her and paying for her time. Go 50/50. If she gets upset at that then you already know her intentions toward you.

Always remember, the same girl you ask out on a date these days would gladly have given it up freely to a guy she met on bumble/tinder/instagram DM etc. In addition. studies show 1/3 of women go out with men with no intention of ever forming a romantic relationship with them and just came for the free food.
