if you use them right, they can be worth while. but i will say that "as a man" you should probably think about keeping your time spent on there at a minimum. like put the most energy towards making a decent profile. don't waste time swiping every day and simping over hot chicks.

i always keep reminding myself that these platforms are build to keep me engaged and paying (which i'm not doing in the first place). they have no interest in me actually finding someone. also i keep reminding myself that the majority of men on dating sites are long term loners like i am. meanwhile the majority of girls are only on there in the few weeks that they happen to be single. so it's like 100 desparate dudes for 1 not so desparate woman. so really for me it's more of a set it up and forget it sort of thing i spend maximum 10 minutes every other day swiping. and if i got a match, i might text her something very low effort first. but usually i just ignore these apps till some girl texts me first. that happens really rarely but when it does, i can usually get a date out of it, which makes the "low" effort worth while after all.

yup. i did hear good things about the more expensive dating sites. because apparently they are actually selling the service of finding a mate instead of providing a plattform suggesting that you "may" find a mate for "free" (blasting you with advertisement). but i'm too stingy to check these out xD

I don't know any guy who's even on any of them. All of the guys I've come across fall into 2 categories. 1. Fuckboys and ex con pimps, who sweet talk and catcall women. 2. Guys that aren't... and either A. Avoid female interaction altogether because they're not stupid, or B. Seek out the immigrant women in their communities and get to know them and their culture. I know a CRAPLOAD of U. S. females on them... almost all of them on multiple ones actually, and they're today's version of the Nigerian Prince Scam... they're only on there to sell content to 70 yr old guys for Cashapps so they can drive around their communities acting like they're a Hollywood movie star that's actually done something with their lives. I actually even know a females currently in PRISON who are selling content via Facebook, 1 in Ohio who flat out admitted to me that the 70 yr old guys who PayPal "are the ones we like in here." So us guys... fall into 1 of 2 categories. I'm the 2nd, as are the vast majority of guys I know.

I don´t think the situation and the pros and cons of dating apps will be next year different than it has been this year. Another problem I see is that many people don´t put effort in their profiles and see dating apps as a short-cut to a relationship.

Besides that I like your list. But I´m not sure from my side of the globe that meeting people in real life gets a huge comeback because there are few places for single people to meet other singles.

I think dating apps are here to stay and are probably going to be the future at least that´s what reading some questions here on GaG makes me feel like. People are getting more and more incapable of having a normal conversation without looking at their phone at some point.

Worth it. Past few years I've been doing far better on apps then real life. In real life my social circles are crap, neighbors work hobbies... I'm mostly surrounded by hideously ugly women, single moms, and cakeup makeup sluts. I hardly meet women that don't fall in those three categories. I have to go way out of my way to meet date able women.

Online had solved that issue where I can still date college girls without having to go to college. And I can also swipe left on the fat ugly ones, ones that wear tons of makeup and single moms.
