That's weird? Bc on the other hand love nerds. Actually, I prefer a nerd to a douchebag. I have liked & dated a few nerds. I think a nerdy guy is very attractive BUT of course, I have to be attracted to him physically. If he doesn't take care of his physical appearance at least a little bit and if he doesn't have a nice personnality, its a huge turn off.
Just because you like nerds doesn't mean most girls like them

I am a bright women and prefer a man who can equally spar or have discussions with me beyond the weather. So, this just isn’t true. REAL woman don’t see them as “nerds."
I think you are in that age bracket. Doesn't happen in the teens or twenties. Then when the poor guy reaches his 30's, he has had a poor love life and although he can hold a conversation, he is still not that appealing to women because he didn't learn the other attraction game. Trust me, I am living this dilemma.

I play chess, love classical music, and collect DC and Lord of the Rings action figures. I get dates. You know why? Because despite my eccentricities I show genuine interest (in other words, not trying to get her to disrobe) and AM NOT BORING.

Women and men don't have a hard time dating nerds. The person just has to be somewhat attractive which is most of the population of humans on Earth and they have to be enjoyable to hang out with.

Why not trying to understand the person you are dating and what they are all about first, maybe their own motivation for not taking pride in themselves stems from a dysfunctional upbringing of nepotism. Their parents were harder on them, than their younger siblings. They don't exactly need to change them, just tweak their style a bit, their charm to make it a bit cool, you know rico suave, casanova.
LOL... i think the title needs to say something else because I dated a nerdy guy and we can relate 100% and we aren't having problems.
Well of course not every girl will need advice on how to date nerdy guys, but I've noticed some on here who clearly did need it, and it was written more for them than for you. :P

it's normal... @kep79 you can play games together with no problem of someone saying "oh my god im bored" or disagreeing with something like a show or a movie.
girls are just to stubborn. the judge your appearance and all that shit, and not what is inside you. think of that next time.

Number 1. Is definitely a big problem with women.
When it comes to such a culture most women not only quickly dismiss it without much thought about the subject matter, or flat out pretend that it doesn't exist and try their best to ignore it as long as they can.
Lop my sons dad is a black nerd, all sciency n into games. Its all about connection. I don't think anything else matters. The people who reject a so called nerd, has had prior prejudices. U wanna be wwith someone and connect... forget who rejects you
