I wouldn't date someone more than 3 years younger than me cause I'm 21, and it would be awkward if I was daring someone underaged 😐 and I usually wouldn't date someone older than me either... lol
I wouldn't date an older person, if I was unreasonably interested I could go for 2~3 years older. As for younger, I would be willing to date a 16 years old, in 5 years I would raise it to 20.
@oldsoul82 The same things I would find appealing in older women. I live in a country with age of consent of 15 years, we don't have to pretend people magically mature and become attractive only at their 18th birthday here.
But a 15 year old looks like a growing child still. They dont have much life experience at all really. I can't really see how a 15 year old to be grown adult mature. A 15 year old is a kid worldwide honestly but whatever floats your boat sir...
@oldsoul82 I understand you would think that since it is what the society in your country taught you to believe. We don't share that sentiment here in the EU.
Sure a 15 yr old is developed sexually butnot mentally. At my age I know several 15-16 yr olds and the maturity difference between me and them (I'm not even 19 yet, will be later this month) is significant in most cases. I know a couple 23-25 year olds personally and the maturity difference between them and a girl who is only 15/16 is VERY significant.
What's so appealing about dating a girl who has much less life experience, a less developed brain, less maturity, can't even do the things you can? Like stay out all night, drink, drive in some cases etc.
@RachelBrigs Mental maturity is subjective, obviously I would not date just any 16 years old yolo swag duckface teen whose interest is in drawing penile shapes on photos of the girl "friends" she dislikes. Also staying out all night and drinking is not things I do or like, so those aren't "qualities" I would look for in a potential partner anyway.
IDC what country it is, that little girl has only give or take 10 years of life experience. 16 may be understandable to some degree but not for a 25 year old. 15 is too young man thats 10 years of you taking her adolescent innocence. If you had a daughter you would let her date a 25-26 year old at 15? Really?
@oldsoul82 I would not let my daughter (if I had a daughter, don't plan on it) date anyone, but I might still go for a younger girl if she was for it. Though preferable, I don't wan't anyone who still lives with their parents.
Why don't people get that 15 year olds can be mature? We 15 as age of consent here too. There's a reason our government put that age. There are many 15 year olds who can handle it well. @oldsoul82
Just here to say no one is taking no 15yo's innocence. Innocence? Did you accidentally read 15 as 5? And this maturity thing depends entirely on the person.
Youngest for me would be like 15. 14 year old girls are still young and I think it would be harder to relate to them. Oldest for me is like 19, mostly because it seems girls my own age want older guys so Im probably going to be dating young
So, for example - I would not date an 20 year old girl nor would I date a 49 year old woman. As I age, I may be willing to date an older woman. But at the moment, it won't be more than 18 years.
I've never really thought about age (obviously she would have to be over 18) but other than that as long as our personalities matched and she was able to laugh at my completely horrible jokes age wouldn't be an issue
I'd say 2-4 because it's closer to my age and that person probably is still in the same situation/mindset as me. I'm only 18 so i wouldn't date anyone that's like 30 because they're probably looking for someone to settle down and have kids with.

As long as she's 18 it's good, If I thought she was 18 but she was actually 16-17 then it's a maybe.

I'm 34 and the vast majority of women I talk to and date are in their mid 20s. Seems like most of them don't care that I'm older. I'm really not interested in women my age or older unless they are very exceptional.

I'll be 22 soon, so I guess about four years at the moment. When I'm 30 obviously I'll have a greater range I'm willing to date.

I don't the dating thing , cause that's just me... but I had sex with a guy who was 33 and I was 20
Year younger, MAYBE two if I really really like him, but I'd date someone as old as 21/22 but I would prefer someone my age or a year older.

You'd date a 16 year old at 25? Just curious, what about a 16 year old would you find appealing enough to date?

She doesn't have to do silly things to be immature.
Why don't people get that 15 year olds can be mature?

Not every 15-year-old is immature. What are these people even talking about? :/ If it's legal and it makes you happy, go for it.
Youngest for me would be like 15. 14 year old girls are still young and I think it would be harder to relate to them. Oldest for me is like 19, mostly because it seems girls my own age want older guys so Im probably going to be dating young
When I was younger I didn't like girls with whom I have a age difference bigger than ±2 years. But nowadays, I don't care about the age difference.
I would go no more than a 8 year difference and I wouldn't go anymore than 2 year's younger then myself.
If the guy is older than me, 10 years.
If the guy is younger than me, only 1-2 years at the most.
I would date anyone up to 25 and anyone down to 17.
On the younger side, no more than 10 years. On the older side, no more than 18.
So, for example - I would not date an 20 year old girl nor would I date a 49 year old woman. As I age, I may be willing to date an older woman. But at the moment, it won't be more than 18 years.
I chose 10-14 years... even though it's closer to 10 than 14
Hope you don't mean you'd date a 13 yr old
@RachelBrigs lol of course not
I've never really thought about age (obviously she would have to be over 18) but other than that as long as our personalities matched and she was able to laugh at my completely horrible jokes age wouldn't be an issue
Up to 30, but not below 20. So I guess an age gap of 8 years.
The oldest I'd date would be 19. I'm 16 and my boyfriend is about to turn 19.
I'd go up to around 40 and down to around 21. In principle anyway.
I wouldn't date younger and the oldest would be 15 years my senior
I'd say 2-4 because it's closer to my age and that person probably is still in the same situation/mindset as me. I'm only 18 so i wouldn't date anyone that's like 30 because they're probably looking for someone to settle down and have kids with.
