You don't need to worry about all those things for your first kiss, maybe for the later ones if your guy is comfortable with more kisses.
And well, I don't know why people say french kissing is gross but it's perfectly alright. What people have already said about pecks is perfectly cute and french kissing is good as well.
Usually if one of you start on the tongues just repeat a open-mouth-close-mouth motion while during the open phrase, poke out ur tongue just a little that it goes out of your mouth and during the close tuck it back and you'll be fine

I didn't either until a few weeks ago. I'm 19 going on 20 next week. It was weird for the first few minutes because I wasn't expecting it, but I just kinda let him lead and it got better. This was a full like 3 hour make out session. It went way better than I expected

Anyway just copy what he does. You usually start out by just overlapping lips. Then you open your mouths more and start trading tongue. Good luck.
