My boyfriend gets mad easily.. why?

so we've been together for 6 months and he still gets mad over some small things. but that's because he overthinks everything. so a small change in tone sometimes means to him that there's sth wrong with me, when it really isn't. he also jumps into conclusions really fast and when he's upset on me, doesn't even let me explain myself.. and he always ends up getting mad because he understood sth wrong and doesn't let me explain it to him. he has his own opinion and doesn't want to change it. yes, I've messed up a lot, i won't deny it, and he had forgiven me every time.. but why does he always get mad at me like that?

also, i have to mention that i never get mad at him, even when he's stressed from school and spills all his anger on me.

He sounds emotionally unstable and the reason for that is most likely feels overwhelmed and ill-equipped to handle his life right now. Best thing you could do is to nurture him and help in any way possible so that he can see a light at the end of the tunnel. Not only that, doing small things like cooking him meals and making him feel great. It gives men a moment to be taken away from all their stress for a moment. They forget about everything else for a little and just think that everything is going to be okay. It's the same concept of someone getting high to forget about everything for a moment. It's nice to have someone looking out for you and if you're a good girlfriend, then you already know how to do this.

You need to look past him blowing up at small things to the extent of letting it upset you. You need to look out for him, and see past that. I'm telling you to think in a selfless way and look past what's happening at surface level. If he's that stressed out and blows up on something, instead of reacting by getting angry even though you are... sit back and realize that he's just stressed. Defuse the situation by making him feel good instead of thinking about yourself by getting angry. He might not notice what you're doing but the end result will be you comforting your man. I'm not suggesting to be a doormat but rather drop your ego and selfish reactive interest because it will benefit your man and you're looking out for both of your best interest.

I dated a girl who was bipolar for almost three years. I was the only guy who wouldn't take her shit but I what I just described is something that I did because I knew her manic episodes were out of her control to an extent. I ended up breaking up with her because she pushed the limit and I told her I was done with it. I tried to make it work though. That's what I'm suggesting to you, to try and make it work.

I think this story is onesided and you're trying to play out the victim. A person only behaves like that if you have wronged him BADLY. So i think you deserve what's coming to you.

Maybe its how his personality is. Or how he was brought up when he was younger, maybe its a gene from his parents, etc. Usually something can cause him to be like this.. or its just the way he is.. short temper. I have a boyfriend with a little bit of an anger problem. But his anger is different to ur boyfriends.

My boyfriend won't get mad at me, well tries not too, sometimes we argue over small pointless things. he's also really immature but he's really sweet and a romantic type, and does things for me. and he will never hurt me. Even tho his anger does scare me, but tbh any anger scares me.

Earlier when i first met him and we started to become close he would usually over re-act and punch thungs. But he has made improvements, i calm him down and he doesn't do that anymore. It can be controlled. Usually when a relationship is still fresh, you tend to learn more about each other, and see/realise what its like living with each other. I mean you both might get picky and annoyed at each other easily. But over time you learn to accept one another for who they are.

Also im not saying that maybe u can try change his behaviour. I mean u can try, and see how it goes... :)

What do you mean you messed up a lot depending on those "messing ups" is probably the reason why.
