Why is approaching women such a stigma these days?

Most of these young Millennial women who complain about how "men never approach us anymore" are the first ones to say a guy is "creepy", or "weird" just because a guy talks to them. In all actuality, the guys are only "Creepy" because they're not wealthy, not privileged, not attractive, and aren't their textbook definition of a "perfect" guy. At least men admit they're superficial (from a physical standpoint, mainly), I never see women admit as such.

How can you say women aren't straight up enough and then get angry when they call a guy creepy? How much more straight up do you want them to be? Sure maybe a little politeness would be better but people are naturally rude and selfish. I would never call a guy creepy unless he actually was creepy. Girls don't call guys creepy if they really aren't. But in all honesty there are lots of creeps out there. I don't know how else to put it. I'm sorry if that hurts your feelings but it's the truth. I'd rather be on the defense and avoid any potential danger than worry about other people's feelings. So if I have to call a guy creepy to get him to leave me alone, I'm calling him creepy.

"Girls don't call guys creepy if they really aren't."-Yes they do, all the time actually. ESPECIALLY in the college age range (18-24), the range you're in.

And I meant girls need to be straight guy about approaching guys, not calling them creepy. It just seems it's a damned if I approach, damned if I don't approach situation.

I don't really know why but I agree it seems to be less common , at least in real life. girls are now used to being approached on sites like facebook or instagram or dating aps like tinder. there not used to being hit on in real life anymore. and many guys foolishly think its easier to find someone online than in real life.

Yeah women are less aware of how superficial they are. They're much more likely to say that looks are less important when in reality they are very important. Woman are definitely more picky overall when it comes to men even in long term relationships.

I don't know why but it sucks. If you guess wrong when asking a girl out she will shun you or end the friendship. Asking a girl out is usually just not worth it these days.
