Why is approaching women such a stigma these days?

Most of these young Millennial women who complain about how "men never approach us anymore" are the first ones to say a guy is "creepy", or "weird" just because a guy talks to them. In all actuality, the guys are only "Creepy" because they're not wealthy, not privileged, not attractive, and aren't their textbook definition of a "perfect" guy. At least men admit they're superficial (from a physical standpoint, mainly), I never see women admit as such.
