So finally sought some coursge and asked this girl I like for a drink with me after work. She accepted which was a plus and made me excited! However whilst having the drink she seemed a bit uptight and serious for some odd reason! Conversation was flowing with no awkwardness and we had a bit of a laugh too. She is a shy and introverted girl normally and I have known her for a few months and gradually she has been letting her guard down, picking on me, touching, long gazes of eye contact, flirting etc, but all at work! I take her out, she agrees but seems to act disinterested as if she said yes just not to disappoint me. I have strong feelings she likes me and I'm liking up to her too, but why this behaviour on a first meeting together, for a drink, one on one. Any ideas? Im really confused.
