Would you date/have sex with a step brother or sister in this cases?

If you two knew eachother when your divorced parent decided to have a bf/gf again and they had a daughter or son, and she/he is into you, would you step forward and have a relationship with them? Or, if you are already in a relationship with someone and your parents got together would you stop seeing each other as a couple?

For me, if I truly love her I would stay with her because it was a decision of our parents not ours. Sex? I am not so sure I would keep that up if I don't love her deeply. It would get complicated if we fought yet still had to see eachother.

If I was already dating her when the parents got together then why not ask why the parents are doing it? Maybe they should respect that we are together?

If I’m not with her when the parents marry then I would never get with her. Family means you might see them at holidays for the next 50+ years. You really don’t want exes to be able to invite themselves to family get togethers and get your contact info any time they want to. If you are on good terms with an ex, maybe but too many bad things can happen here. I don’t think you can be good siblings and exes/lovers. They are different roles.

You are young so you are only thinking about what you want right now. Trust me, a lot of bad things can come out of this and your future self won’t think you. If you were 30s you’d be more qualified to make an informed decision (whatever that decision would be).

There’s billions of women you can have casual sex with. Don’t act like there is some emergency need for you to bang her.

You can’t control how she will feel/think after sex. You can’t control how you will either. You are just guessing and hoping for the best.

Yes, it is, but not the situation I planted, because being cousins you know what you are getting into, here the thing is you are two totally separe people that got together and love each other and suddenly your families form one family including you and your partner in it, for me the answer is clear in both scenarios, I want to hear other people's take on the OTHER topic, later I will post about cousins.

I wish this was my case but no xD it was a conversation I had with a cousin actually and we both were like, well, if we were already in a loving relationship why break it just because of that? No blood relation and the decision to join families had nothing to do with us so... screw their decision, I would tell them like, dad, me and her daughter are together, do you still want to marry her? Put the presure on them first.
