Does A Woman Who Grows Up Being A Fatherless Daughter Inherit A disadvantage In The Dating World?

Does a woman who grows up being a fatherless daughter give her an disadvantage when it comes to dating? I ask this question as I’m currently a 21-year-old university student who would love to begin dating. Yet I have been wondering if I being a fatherless daughter affects my chances of being in a relationship? I was primarily raised by my mother my entire life and lost contact with my father at the age of four I therefore grew up being an only child. Anyhow would this label me as a woman that is most likely to have “daddy issues”. I know this may be a strange question but what are your thoughts?

Really, the important thing is having positive male figures in your life in my opinion.

an abusive father < no father < positive male influences.

I have met girls with no fathers who have been fine and have met girls with good fathers who are troubled.

Sure... i am sure these maybe outliers however... there's quite a bit of "stuff" that makes a person who they are. I was raised 98% by my mom and 2 % of my father.

However... i was put into a lot of programs that allowed me to have male influence growing up which allowed me to have a balance of both.

Most likely. My daughter told me the biggest factor in teen pregnancy is the girl's relationship with her father. Among other things, she would not feel the protection and comfort that a man can provide and my make it difficult to relate to her SO when she is insecure or anxious and may drive him away or act overly clingy. The real thing isn't necessarily a father but a strong male figure in your life.

I believe that and one who fathers mistreat them and mothers cause women seem to except guys the same way. I noticed that from tourist who visit.

No. Absolutely not for getting dates. In fact, it's a perk. However having a father can be helful: if you have a good open relationship with your father, then you won't be so uncomfortable asking him questions about men from the male perspective.

I was raised by a single parent, no dad. I have no issues with dating the right people.
Just remember to not get pregnant by a guy, and think you can raise a child by yourself.
