Is a kiss all over your face supposed to be tender?

I had a guy kiss me and then when I pulled away from the kiss he kissed my cheeks, nose, eyelid, just my whole face. Sorry for the weird questions just wanna know guys intentions! ?

The eyelid is weird, personally I'd have started off with around the face like forehead, cheeks, neck, and worked my way towards the lips. That's super cute in my opinion

Lol im bad at describing i guess. We kissed and when i just kind of quit he kissed my cheeks, nose it wasn't too fast. I was just curious why guys will kiss all over your face? Is he wanting to go further or just being sweet lol
