Okay, some days back , a girl was being bothered by someone , I tried to tell him to stop it and there was a fight and he won. Most embarrassing part was that I was lying down and she holding me. She tried to contact me later to check on maybe but I didn't talk to her out of humiliation. The other friend of mine , who was just a friend came to know about it and came home to "help" which I didn't want. But I don't know how things went and we got along well together and within 12 days or so , she was my girlfriend. I still feel lot embarrassed in front of her. Girls , what would you have expected in such case?

Heroically saving the damsel in distress may seem smooth and all, but it takes a lot more guts to stand up for something or someone even if it gets you your ass kicked, than to only do it when you know you can walk away victorious.

I won't answer who was the girl , but I got involved in their business because I knew her since a month or so and she had in a casually mentioned about the stalker. There's a reason I didntsend mention how I was related to her. And police weren't in that campus then and I demoed complaining. You don’t have the evidence to know for sure that you’re right, and yet you’re acting like a jerk anyway. You should give people the benefit of the doubt. Even if the chance is small, you can’t be sure you’re right. If you are, you aren’t going to achieve anything but an argument so there are few consequences. But, if you’re wrong, then you’re kicking someone when they’re down. You’re causing damage. The risk reward balance doesn’t fall in the attack dog category here.
