Do you think the show "Room Raiders" was an interesting idea as a way to get to know a potential date?

That shit was hilarious xD. Checking stains n what not. But in real life. It can somewhat. But depending the situation. Maybe it’s not extravagant doesn’t mean bad. Maybe they are still working and going to school. Maybe they just feel comfortable with it. If it’s trash then that’s a whole nother story. Garbage, rancid as fuck, not clean at all. Dishes and old food... that would say something negative xD
Not at all, lol. Its all staged anyway so I could put more items to make it more interesting. And people who dont spend a lot of time in their rooms will always have emptier ones. Does not mean they are not interesting, quite the opposite, they would have more activities outside. All you can tell from their rooms is their hobbies and cleanliness level. Not the most important qualities in a person.
Room Raiders was always funny when they brought out the blacklight and dudes’ bedspreads would light up like Chinese New Year haha.
This reminded me of one of my favorite TV moments of all time, this weird ass chick on Next lmfao
I dunno. Someone's room is their personal space, and, furthermore, it doesn't tell you anything about that person's heart and character.

It's a good premise, but I'll pitch an alternative. Rather than clothes they use music collection. So when I first went to Uni I was nervous as I'd been allocated a room with a fellow student in the halls of resident. Was worried I wouldn't get on with my room mate, but on my first day I walked into my room (my room mate had arrived the day earlier but wasn't there when I arrived)... he'd put his music collection out on a table and it was all massively cool/great music.. but what made me realised we'd get on was in the middle of all the cool music was the cheesiest record ever... It was at that point I'd knew we'd get on lol
That's pretty cool
I don't know why, it made me think about this
🤣🤣
Never heard of it. I don't see it on Netflix. What is it on?
It was on MTV. I'm sure you could find some on youtube.
OMG I forgot all about that show! 🤣 I guess you can at least get an idea about someone from their living space
Surely anyone with half a brain would remove anything bad and fill their rooms with attractive items.
Well the police sometimes use this method to investigate, so it makes sense. :)
Never heard of it. That is a good way to find out. But what about personal "massagers" and "massaging" oils? Lol.
What?
Yeah, that was kind of interesting
But it was SO awkward when they yanked that guy out of his house in his bath towell
I used to love this show hahah, dang the memories 😂
Omg, I used to love that show. 😂 Yeah, it was an interesting idea.
Yes, that seems very interesting. Of course, if it is for a show, then it would all be altered beforehand by the participants and director.
Never heard of it, it does sound interesting, but its also an invasion of privacy.
For a staged show, it was interesting, to say the least. I actually liked Exposed a little more than Room Raiders though.
My friend was on that show lol. It’s all staged.
Really?
Yep.
Reality TV in general is faker than a three dollar bill. My roommate back in college played in the NFL for a few years and was modeling, etc. My girlfriend was watching that show “Let’s Talk About Pep” with Pepa from Salt N Pepa, basically she and her friends looking for love, etc. One of her friends was Joumana Kidd, ex-NBA player Jason Kidd’s ex-wife. She ends going on a blind date, and who the fuck is it but my old buddy, and my girlfriend is like “uhhh... I think Brandon is on TV right now.” So sure enough, it’s him, and they’re just doing the whole candlelight and champagne flutes thing, my boy is running his fake-ass smooth player game on her, lmao. Anyway, she says to the friends afterwards that he’s cute but too young for her and not suitable for much more than a booty call haha. Anyway, something hit me: this is only a couple years after MySpace was pretty much over with, and I remember he had a “Joumana™️“ in his Top 10 friends, I figured it was someone he modeled with. I go to his page that was still up... same chick. So these two have known each other for years, but they’re on TV acting like they’ve never met and got set up. Lmao, what a hustle.
That sounds fun! I like it!
wouldn't know never seen it
It was a cool idea. I miss that show
Isn't that illegal?
They knew what they were getting into when they signed up to be a contestant. They just didn't know when it would occur.
An interesting idea for psychopaths, yes.
Never heard of it.
Yes it was
It would be if it wasn't staged
