What do you think is the reason why black men and white women generally prefer each other, while black women and white men usually prefer their race?

Are black women and white men too closed minded or are white women and black men just too open minded? LOL!
Also, do you think in time this will get "fixed"?
Not that it is something to "fix" but will there be more white men dating black women, because the way I see it considering there's an equal amount of straight people of all races and sexes, not all white men can have a white woman since most prefer to date black men and not all black women can have a black man since most prefer to date white women.

White men date interracially as often in north Americas as white women do. However they more commonly date Asian women.

When I've seen actual data on preferences, it seems like most women prefer their own race, but that preference is relatively mild relative to other preferences, and not all women care.

I suspect the biggest reason we see black male - white female and white male - Asian female couples, is that broadly speaking black American culture is a little more outgoing/loud/assertive than white culture which is more loud and assertive than Asian culture.

Consequently black guys seem confident to white girls and white guys seem confident to Asian girls, while Asian guys seen shy to white women, and white guys seem shy to black women. In meeting and asking out, there's an expected level of teasing/trying harder/reciprocation from the woman where she's trying to give the right signals indicating some interest but not too much, and I think with some cross cultural stuff the guy comes off as confident, and in others as too shy. None of these actually reflect how internally confident guys are, just how they SEEM to women in a different culture than their own.

I dont know. I've seen too many black man white woman couples. I just dont find dark skinned girls attractive.

-I actually knew black guys that werent attracted to black girls what so ever. They thought they were gross, like "eww, you date her" and then looked at the white girl.

Personally I think it's because they live in areas that dont have all that many black girls and they are use to seeing more of white girls and get use to them.
