I’ve been dating this guy for 2 weeks and we both truly get along. He’s sweet and adorable with me, but yesterday he confessed that he spent 8 years in a prison, he was 15 when he was sentenced, and now he’s 25, so it’s been 2 years that he got out from the prison. I wanted to break up with him, but it turns out that his victime was a pedophile, that he killed because of how hardly he beated him, since he was too strong. This pedophile raped his neighbor’s daughter, when she was only 5 years old, and he told me that he couldn’t control himself, because of what this pervert did to that kid. Other than that, he followed his studies in jail, he have a good job and he’s a very polite nice caring man. So deep inside I feel so guilty to love him despite that he committed a crime, but I even meet the parents and this girl who’s now a teenager, and they told me that they will always be thankful to him but that they feel bad that he ended in a jail, so what he told me was the truth since he even showed me the paper news of when that happened , he also swear that he never harmed anyone beside this pedophile. Should I give him a chance?
