My ex girlfriend was crippling shy in the early stages of our relationship, and that not only put more than one obstacle in our relationship, but also covered more alarming flaws. That aside, by dating after her I simply discovered I prefer more proactive, confident girls. One of the reasons I admire my fiancée so much is because she's that confident and a top achiever.
