Once the "shot clock" runs out, the person loses interest and the opportunity to get with them is gone.

Interesting concept, I have a number of behavioral characteristics that I look for, and ones I watch out for. You have to be very careful of women, they play it's a man's world, save me when it suits them, and treat us like dirt if they can get away with it. The patience clock is always ticking with people around me.
NO. Not with a specific amount of time at least. I do believe an opportunity can pass. The time to act is not after I've been married for 10 years. But if a person can't admit how they feel because of their current circumstances, I won't hold it against them for waiting months or even years before saying it aloud.
I've never heard of that, but it doesn't sound like a good idea. Many different factors could be involved with whether people reveal their feeling or not, and it's not necessarily a red flag.
