Is there really a big difference between being boyfriend and just a friend?

I think I actually just now getting to that point we’re I’m mad whenever I see other people happy like I just don’t want to be near them at all. it’s no hate I know relationships are not as good as they seem just because you with someone doesn’t mean. your life is just going to be great with them I have had many female friends to kinda get the point how frustrating they can be sometimes lol. I know actually being her boyfriend must be alott worse I just dropped them all from my life because. i thought well they don’t want me so what’s even the point of conversation for? and I know they never see me in that way i probably just make a damn fool of myself. trying because I have no experience I just feel that why me always be the one to get rejected and are they doing this on purpose.
