What should I wear to an ice skating date (in summer!)?

It's very hot outside, but I have a date coming up going ice skating. I've never ice skated but he says he will teach me. It sounds like lots of fun but what do I wear?

A skirt with a summer top.

Bring a sweater and a pair of leggings for when you get to the rink.

I hope you aren't serious here. She has NEVER ice skated, which means her ass will fall, probably several times. You think she should wear a skirt? Come on.

@spartan55 Notice... I suggested leggings... warm ones that she can put on UNDER the skirt when she gets to the rink... or if she prefers, she can take off the skirt and skate in just leggings
