I don't judge people by their vices. But it's definitely something that removes some appeal so for me to date her she will have to be very much my type so I overlook that detail.
No and vaping is a no as well. My grandmother died of lunge cancer after years of smocking. She also choose to hospice at home the last four weeks she was alive. I was there those four weeks.
Nope, if only because I've never smoked and have cleaned up too many nasty ash trays in my life. Don't care what personal health choices a person makes but nope, nope, nope. Also, e-cig is just as bad if not worse.
On the one hand, I smoke salts, but on the other hand, cigarettes are a whole other thing so no. If she limited herself to only salts then I'd be fine with it.
I dated a few girls that smoked. This was back in the 80's when it was more popular. It never bothered me. I would date one but probably not marry one.
I never liked cigarettes. When I found out my boyfriend was smoking in secret, I encouraged him to switch to vaping. I did not get mad at him but he knew I was so upset, so he tried his best to switch. I’m glad he did.
Well, because smoking doesn't define a person. They may be just trying it out or trying to quit, or at least have the intention of quitting because they got to know of its ill-effects after starting it at a young age when they weren't that clever. I mean there could be a no. of reasons why a person starting smoking, so we can't judge them for it.
But deciding to quit or not is a conscious decision, so I would rather judge the person on that.

Nope. If I’m thinking long term that involves fertility and the health of our child. Very off putting, in fact a deal breaker.

I cannot date a smoker.
It's bad enough if their parents do.
To me, it's a complete turn-off.
I don't have a problem dating a smoker, but that relationship won't last long as I wouldn't be comfortable knowing they're never gonna give it up.
@dhinchak
Why date them in the first place?

Naw, the smell of cigarettes are gross
They probably have quit a thousand times. Don't be so judgmental of a date. You're still practically strangers.
Nope.
Don't care if she's otherwise an 11/10, that is an immediate deal-breaker.
My boyfriend smoke.. tho I hate it he doesn't wanna changed and.. I have feelings for him so I can't leave him
Only of the want to or currently trying to stop smoking.
I made a move that I'm happy about, I stopped smoking but I would date a woman who is a smoker and refuses to stop
No. I don't wanna taste ashtray for the rest of my life if I kiss that person. Also, smokers are filthy in general 🤷♀️
No that´s a dealbreaker to me because I´m a non smoker.
Absolute dealbreaker. If she cares so little about HER health, she probably won't help me maintain MINE, either.
I can't stand the smell. I immediately leave the room when one ofbmy friends start smoking. I can't put up with a partner who smells like that.
