+1 yYou have to force yourself to acknowledge the negative things about relationships that you're currently not. You have to remind yourself that relationships aren't the end of all problems. They're the beginning of more complex problems. And that you'd never truly know beforehand if it will all work out in your favor & feel worth it.
After you've done that (altered your beliefs), you'd be ready to move on to other value structures. Ones that don't involve being in a relationship but can still bring you happiness. And the first step to that is to stop thinking that you're hopeless. And the first step to that is to stop saying it and instead replace it with other more constructive sayings.03 Reply- +1 y
I thought the same thing as you about 4 years ago. I saw myself as less than because I didn't get love from certain people. But my huge flaw was equating me not getting the love to my level of self-worth.
I had huge issues with viewing myself as inferior to others. You might just have to ask yourself questions that make you question your beliefs & value structures. Things like:
• If you have the belief that you need them, ask yourself why they deserve you?
• If you have the belief that you life will be better with them in it, ask yourself what will change? And would it outweight the cons of the change? - +1 y
And if you're sure that you want a relationship, then you could just ask yourself questions that address the insecurity of not being good enough.

+1 yWrite down everything reason you feel hopeless and write the solution next to it.
Im too skinny - work out and eat more
Im too fat - eat less and workout more
Use logic to solve problems, not your emotions. Thats why you feel hopeless, you dont know any better. Focus on the solutions and be honest about what your problems are02 Reply- +1 y
You can you're just stubborn. Thats a habit u gotta break to be happy from within.
Definitely seek professional help but in the meantime some things that helped me were taking up hobbies especially ones with a physical element then I met new people and just generally felt better about myself but I know confidence and or motivation to do things like that can be difficult to find medication can help but really only in the short term

4.3K opinions shared on Dating topic. Changing whatever routine you’re currently in. I’m a depressive on mild meds and go to therapy. Both help. But break the monotony of whatever you’re currently doing. Go kayaking. Play racquet ball. Look up a Meet Up group to go to.
But stats say the more people you meet the more likely you are to find someone.02 ReplyKeep your self busy don't use too much social media I mean chat is ok and Keep developing your curiosity I have similar situation so I do this. it's doesn't make you completely depress free but its help me a lot and keep looking for someone you like without rushing good luck😁👍

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yIronically having a boyfriend isn’t what’ll cure the depression. You have to find fulfilment in your own life first before you can be genuinely happy with anyone else.
