I told my friends with benefits of 4 years to stop asking for nudes did I do the right thing?

I've realised I always settled for low expectations and i regret wasting my time on a guy who put me in the friends with benefits zone for the last 4 years. He asked for nides the other day and I told him I felt like I was in a dead end and I'm not sending any pictures anymore. I've got the point where I'm sick of guys not giving me what I want. Now I'm 29 and very late into the dating scene

”Guys” won’t give you what you want, it’s your job to make sure you go get what you want. The fact that your friends with benefits is asking for nudes isn’t weird or wrong. Neither is the hole fwb-situation you’ve had going because you’ve agreed to it. This is on you, not him. You need to sit down and figure out exactly what it is you want in terms of dating/guys/relationship and then actively go out and look for it and not settle for anything less than that. If you meet a guy you like but he’s not wanting the same thing you do you move on to the next, the sooner the better. You don’t stick around because he may change or he may magically suddenly want whatever it is that he’s not wanting now. And no, of course it’s not wrong to end the friends with benefits situation if you no longer want to be a part of it.

Well as as friends with benefits, he would expect that however if you don’t wanna send him nudes, you can say it right away. Also, you can’t expect friends with benefits to get feelings for you. If you are up for dating and serious relationship, then you need to let go of these friends with benefits
