There's a difference between can't and won't. If you cannot defend someone then that means you know they have the advantage. For example would you really fight someone who has a sword but you don't have any? You're just going to die in no time and i don't think thats a smart move. You can try but if you know you can't, you can at least run away while you carry your girlfriend with you. The intention of trying to protect someone is still there despite not being able to fight the person which is what matters. Saying you won't is just "fuck it im leaving you here bye" Big difference. Despite saving her life by running away together and she is still turned off because you didn't fight, she just wants you to die and that's a big red flag. She don't deserve a smart, caring and humble boyfriend.
Apparently, men possessing ''status symbols'' are in higher demand than your average street-caveman. Thus, I see that they indeed ''generally would''. Girls with more refined expectations also seem to look out for someone with brains; muscles are welcome, but not a must.
As a woman, I could defend myself but if my boyfriend just stands there and watches without getting involved then that's pretty fucked up in my opinion. Lol 😂
I was out once cliff diving and some girl was there with her boyfriend going on about how great he was. Then I brought up if he could protect you (meaning her) and she got all mad. Im no pro fighter, but I regularly do mma training for self defense. Mainly submission moves.
Back in the day we all used to Duke it out with our fists and know when you’re beat and when you won. The world has only gotten more dangerous each and everyday. One could even entertain the idea that this is going according to plan. Chaos Divide & Conquer is how you tear down a society.
@Johnsmith119 right she says that like men don’t do martial arts either no matter what they do they are still women and they are still weaker than a man women aren’t strong enough to stop a man from hurting them
Honestly, ideally no. I want a guy who can protect me if something bad happens. I do have a thing for the strong looking type of a guy though so maybe it's just me. He cares after me this way, I care after him a bit differently.
@quietcuite I don't like skinny, I can handle slim but I do much more prefer average to buff guys. Simply strong looking, they don't have to be ripped.
I personally can protect my women from danger. But here is thing , even though i can , i still do not put her a position or an environment to be put in danger. So even the guy can't protect fully , he can avoid and plus there are also weapons of the world. So a guy just needs brains , don't be dumb , there are guns in the world and knives , it doesn't matter about size. Just stay safe!

Sure, I'd date a weak guy. But only if he didn't have a Dom personality.
Ain't nothing i hate more then a mouse with a big ass mouth and bad attitude.
Many girls would. I know a lot of girls that look at their man and think he would be helpless but would be willing to take a bullet for her and that's enough for them.
I was always taught that I would need to protect my family and friends. So I would like to think that my future partner would be acceptable to the fact that we need security incase of any worse case scenario.
I would still date him and just hope we never have such a confrontation. But I do love dating a guy that I know he could protect me - then I wouldn't have to get involved with it.
I would be able to defend myself. And I would teach my wife or girlfriend defense too. Why should I take the charge of her security when I can do better? Teach her!
Well I can protect my woman when I have one so it really isn't a problem for me. I have known and also been with girls who that would have been a problem though if the guy couldn't or wouldn't defend them.
Home > Dating > Polls > Girls, would you date a guy who can't defend you or themselves in a physical confrontation? Guys, do you think they generally would?

I think girls just generally see it as a bonus, but in reality when you're dating and talking to someone. Your chemistry with the person matters most.
Anyone can learn how to defend themselves and others. Your chemistry and special relationship? Nah
Yes, though I'd probably convince him to come with me to jiu-jitsu.
jiu-jitsu gyms have the best group of unsuspecting badass people
I love you Ninani
Please be aware, I am a 33 years old virgin Indian! I am very frustrated. I eat some curry.
@Chanta_Padega bro what? this comment is amazing lol
Bro you are in 20s. Do whatever you want. I miss those times. I feel everything is lost. :(
That time is gone forever.
I am going into depression, I will listen to that song and remember 2015.
I wish I had met a girl like Ninani. Probably I will have to reborn!
@Chanta_Padega Hey Ninani is single my dude lol. It's all good, eat some curry you'll be alright

He should at least try, even if he doesn't stand a chance. I would back him up though.
I doubt they would if she's the type of woman to go looking for trouble like that. You can always leave them for the streets.
A decent woman would never make an effort to bring trouble to her man, even if he is fully capable of incapacitating someone with ease.
I was out once cliff diving and some girl was there with her boyfriend going on about how great he was. Then I brought up if he could protect you (meaning her) and she got all mad. Im no pro fighter, but I regularly do mma training for self defense. Mainly submission moves.
Could have just bought a gun.

No shit, but that divide is marginal at best. Cut the power to the Cities and watch the fun unfold.
Yes, I have been practicing krav maga for a few years and I know I can beat most men I know.
I don't care if I'm stronger and more skillful than the man I'm dating. That's irrelevant.
Nope
😂😂 ok whatever you wish big girl
@Johnsmith119 right she says that like men don’t do martial arts either no matter what they do they are still women and they are still weaker than a man women aren’t strong enough to stop a man from hurting them
Guys usually hold back when fighting women. I mean guys who aren't violent criminals/rapists and serial killer types. So don't get too cocky.
Honestly, ideally no. I want a guy who can protect me if something bad happens. I do have a thing for the strong looking type of a guy though so maybe it's just me. He cares after me this way, I care after him a bit differently.
So you dislike skinny slim boys?
@quietcuite I don't like skinny, I can handle slim but I do much more prefer average to buff guys. Simply strong looking, they don't have to be ripped.
You are buff looking woman?
@quietcuite No. I'm short and petite.
This isn't the stone age, girls don't want mindless thugs who are always looking for an excuse to prove they're hard.
How do you know what stone age girls wanted?
@purplepoppy
Girls don't also want soyboys with more estrogen than they have, either.
@MCheetah Ok can we just leave soy out of it? It's one of America's top exports and lots of British boys love it.
Drop the soy, eat the beef.

So a rat? 🤔
@cookiecrusher Yes but it just can’t be a rat with a Dom personality.
Lol 😂😂😂
I love this 😂😂 I'm not fighting anyone I'm wearing uggs like let me be lol I'm no threat
You ok with skinny slim short boys?
Many girls would. I know a lot of girls that look at their man and think he would be helpless but would be willing to take a bullet for her and that's enough for them.
Some people surprise you honestly

I have a ccw that says i can defend myself. So yeah i would. Not everyone can deak with confrontation.
I would be able to defend myself. And I would teach my wife or girlfriend defense too.

You really can't teach the will to kill.
Well I can protect my woman when I have one so it really isn't a problem for me. I have known and also been with girls who that would have been a problem though if the guy couldn't or wouldn't defend them.
No, we want to feel we have some chance to be protected.
How tall are you
Not tall maybe 162
And how tall do you like men to be at least?
I don't know but I do like if he is taller.
Taller as in at least 175?
