How would you react if you found out a girl you were interested in had deformed breasts?

How would you react if you were interested in a girl and otherwise attracted to her, but found out she had tuberous breast deformity? The link includes a picture that illustrates TBD. It is when breasts fail to develop typically. Basically the breasts end up tube shaped with the areolas encapsulating the tip of the breast

Had to Google it, I’ve never heard of it before. That’s pretty rough. I can see that causing self esteem issues and depression. It looks like there is plastic surgery to correct it though?


As for being a deal breaker with dating, personally I’m more concerned with personality, compatibility and interests. Physical traits are important, but as long as one is moderately attractive and takes care of themselves (hygiene & weight), that wouldn’t be a concern for me. Everyone has something they have to deal with.

I think calling it a “deformity” makes it sound bad. As far as variation between breast shapes and sizes go, this looks perfectly within what you would expect. Normal, if I may? The classification as a deformity is just from medical language and shouldn’t be taken literally. The pictures I’ve seen remind me of breasts I’ve seen in person and never had I the thought there was something out of place with that.

I agree the term deformity is rather harsh.
There are different degrees of tubular breasts some are literally just puffy nipples. Also some women experience discomfort and find it difficult to breast feed. Tubular breasts can be any size but unusually tiny breasts are more common.
That all said I think tubular breasts aren't that uncommon

No doubt about the immaturity. I feel men who judge a woman's attractiveness based on her breasts are shallow. I mean breasts are great, but they don't automatically make a woman beautiful if there are no other defining qualities.
Also, they may change over time. Weight loss causes a decrease in size and possible sagging, women's breasts may get bigger OR smaller after pregnancy (I've heard both stories), also they may sag after breast feeding and look deflated.

Furthermore I know women who have had both breasts removed due to cancer..

That all said I no longer get offended by the shallow jerks who can't be attracted to a woman because something is not ideal on her chest... I would rather not be with a superficial man in the first place.

I don't know why I used to believe breasts were the most important trait, so. much so that only girls with skinny bodies topped with massive perky breasts could ever find a decent guy and nothing else but boobs mattered to guys but now that. im older I realize how wrong I was and that most guys don't care too much about boobs anyhow

It wouldn't bother me. I like boobs, but there are a lot more important features that I like, and its not like you can't fix that if it's something you'd want.

That's awesome that you and so many others feel this way. Tuberous breasts have attributed to mental health issues in women. I always thought I was a hideous monster because of my tubular breast, and finding proper fitting clothes bras and bikinis has been a nightmare. I felt that my femininity was broken, if that makes sense.

I understand your pain. I used to be similar when I was young. I suffered massive depression over feeling outcast.

I happened to stumble into a philosophy class in college, and learned about Stoicism, and have found that to not only be a wonderful comfort, but, upon embracing it, not only did my perspective on things improve, but my life did, as well. Because I knew i was doing the absolute best I could, making myself look as good as possible, being as good of a person as possible, and doing as good of a job as possible (in essence, trying to be the very best person I could be every single minute of every single day), I found that many people quickly looked past all the imperfections I was focused on, which boosted my happiness even further. Being happier made trying to be the best I could be easier, which meant more people looked past my imperfections. It created a positive feedback loop.

If you are struggling, I recommend looking into the philosophy. I'll spend the rest of my life swearing by it. I genuinely hope it helps.

Well breast is part of my initial attraction. I’m looking at the overall shape of your breasts from the get go to determine if I’m attracted to you. If the shape is weird from the start then I’m not sure I would be attracted in the first place

I totally agree on the personality part and I. feel the same way when it comes to men.
I know a girl with a figure to die for like she's fit with a tiny waste round butt and huge boobs and she's gorgeous but also very vain and demanding... I've met vain guys as well and even if they look good the vanity is a turn off...
I think the media makes women think they have to be perfect to attract a mate and it's not true
I once believed no guy would date a woman with deformed breasts, or other physical differences, but I realize 99 percent of guys don't care and honestly guys who look at breasts alone and nothing else are shallow...
