A guy named Nick dates a girl for 6 months. At 6-months Nick tells her he does not want an exclusive girlfriend and ends things with her. Right after that, he had a one-night-stand with a gay guy named James he met at the bar. Afterwards- the gay guy (James) tells the whole town that they slept together. The guy denies to others that he ever slept with the gay guy. The guy then contacts the girl he used to date and expresses how he now wants to be her boyfriend. They become boyfriend and girlfriend for a year and a half. Do you think he most likely became the girl's boyfriend to cover up the fact that he hooked up with a guy? Or do you think it could be just as likely he really was in love with her. Which one do you think sounds most likely to be true?
