My boyfriend hit me for the first time accidentally, what do I do?

Yesterday was our anniversary, we couldn’t do much because I work full time. my friend from Pakistan that I used to game with sent me a picture of an Xbox saying he finally got a new console, as he didn’t play games for about a year since he sold his gaming phone to help his best friend in the hospital, let me add he is engaged. So out of excitement I decided that I wanted one too since I had not gamed with him for long time. So I told my boyfriend I was gonna get an Xbox, and he gets upset with me because he feels cheated. While I understand how him asking me to get one and me refusing can hurt, but I also don’t like buying things out on a whim like him, more so because he doesn’t use them very long, and if I buy a console I’m gonna want to play it a lot, and it felt like a better use if I bought it to game with my friend who never stops gaming. Ever. Well except for school and work Yk.
So our argument escalates and he assumes I’m choosing my friend over him and blames me for his lack of friends even though it seemed like he literally just wanted to bone anyone or everything with a vagina. It definitely turned into a screaming match and then he hit me, naturally I went into a little flight or fight mode and I smacked him
Back, then he smothered me with a pillow. I’m taking into account that he has AdHD and has a lot of impulse control issues. But can someone tell me what to do, I have no interest in being a a tenderized meat chop but I love my boyfriend.

I can understand that he might be upset vut there is no excuse for gim to have done that at all. I'd be looking at this as the start of a bew side of him, likely he will do it again especially if he doesn't have any impulse control. Tine to make a decision if you want to be in a potentially abusive relationship or move on. Personally I'd move on, i had an ex that hit me a couple of times, it was never going to hurt me, but it showed a clear lack if respect for me, so I was out of there.

First of all, you shouldn't be with a guy who hit you. He can't control himself. Leave him. Second, you are not married, it's not a real anniversary. If you and your boyfriend didn't have plans for that day or night, it's not a big deal.
On the other hand, if you two had plans to spend the day or evening together, you should have not been talking to some other guy.
