How to discuss communication between dates?

I’ve been on 3 dates with this guy and the dates have gone extremely well. I am 36 with a child and he’s 27. The last date we had he asked me what I was looking for and I said a relationship but wanted to take it slow. Unfortunately I didn’t really get his answer because I had to run to the bathroom but it seemed like he was asking me because he wanted something more than a hookup. He said age doesn’t matter to him and also asked if I want more kids. He is always asking me a lot of questions and seems genuinely interested in getting to know me. Our intimacy has been very passionate. Unlike anything I can remember having with my ex.

My concern is his communication when we’re not together. I basically hear from him just once a week and dates are spaced like 3 weeks apart. It drives me insane. I know there will be another date but is there something I can say to show I want to talk/see him more without sounding clingy? Or should I first try and clarify that he actually likes me and I’m just completely reading all the signs wrong? Like I could bring up the convo we had again and say he never told me what he was looking for?

These are fair questions, so if I were you I’d definitely address them with him. However I will say that his behavior says a lot. Seeing each other every 3 weeks, and only talking once a week, on top of him being 27, it just sounds like he’s young and not very serious. Anyway, I hope that he’s on the same page as you and if he isn’t, drop him and move on, rather than invest more time in a dead end situation.

Yea at first I was definitely thinking he doesn’t want anything serious and that is the reason for his behavior. But after our last date and him asking me what I was looking for and the passionate intimacy we had was definitely thinking he liked me. So now I’m just totally confused. Will have to figure out how to clarify this before I really get hurt.

I also get the impression that he’s into you, but just be sure his intentions are in the right place, as I’m sure you will☺️

Well honey you must be a beautiful woman. I hear you on clear comunnication. That so important. Make sure he accepts you as you are. Dont be so forward but let me see your love and he must accept your child as his own
