Hey y'all, I need some opinions!
A few months ago, my friend, more like acquaintance, from college told me about one of her roommates she thinks is cute (she lives in a big co-ed house, 24 people!!). We're both tall girls, and this guy is 6'3, blonde, engineer, and super cute, so obviously we both are going to think he's handsome!
She said she thought he was cute and would totally date him, but she thought it would be weird since they're roommates. We didn't discuss it any further.
I saw this guy at a party last week, and we had a "meet cute" of sorts (I got shoved into him on the dance floor and we got to talking). We ended up dancing (no room for jesus lol), and apparently their whole house was talking about it the next day. Then a second party a few days later, we danced again!
The guy never asked for my number, but I have a feeling it might lead to something as we will continue to be seeing each other at future events/parties.
Only problem:
I feel a little guilty. I don't want to be the girl that "stole" a guy from someone else, and I'm grappling with whether or not I'm the asshole in this situation.
My opinion: This friend of mine is on tinder, talking with other guys, and comments on the attractiveness of other guys all the time. She even went to a college formal recently and invited her guy friend instead (wouldn't you think she'd ask her roommate if she truly was interested in going out with him?). Yet, I still knew she was kinda crushing on him and I danced with him anyway.
I'm not terribly close with this girl, but I don't want things to be awkward, and I don't want her to feel jaded towards me, especially if this guy pans out to be a boyfriend. So, let me know. Am I the asshole? Lol all opinions welcome
