Dates should be like interviews to not waste time

It doesn’t have to be a super formal date that is strictly sitting across the table from each other for 30 mins to ask each other questions… That definitely gives off a very pushy vibe. I understand wanting to be serious and not wasting time, but you can still have fun and get to know each other and ask their intentions.


It depends on what people consider fun. As stated, you can still have fun and get to know each other and their intentions. You could be going mini golfing or whatever and have a conversation there. Who knows?

ultimately, dates are supposed to end with a relationship, maybe partnership for life. and for that you need to have chimestry and trust with your date. you can't have chimestry with a job interview kind of date, but you can't just go and have fun with out learning anything about them.
but, learning who someone is takes a long time - years, and for that we need to incentivise out brains. so, we start of the chimesry. keep the fun and create the attraction that make us want to spend more time together and make us curious and wanting to discover who that person is. so, first of all dates should be fun, and then bit by bit learn about the person. but the fun should be about the people. so activities like movies, bungie jumping or things or the sort, where the activity is the fun and not the people is a no go. instead, playing board games that leave space for people to express themselves is great! bowling where you can talk during the game. you get the idea
