Ladies and Gents! Which personalities/character traits have you learned to avoid/be careful with when first meeting a dating prospect?

I'm not talking about things they've done in the past because you would just be meeting them. If you are the type to figure that out someone's past mistakes right away, please do tell.

Also, if it's not a complete deal breaker, and you're just careful around people who are a certain way, how can someone make you feel better about dating him/her.

Self-absorbed, arrogance, or entitlement. I don't want a grossly arrogant partner, and definitely, not one who acts super entitled (cause that causes other issues!!).

Though also if their jokes are always self-deprecating and always manage to make the conversation come back to their sadness. I don't want to be with someone who's in a dark place and doesn't want help.

If they have a history of criminal activity (Rap sheet), liar, not able to complete, Type A personalities or ones for whom I've seen rocks smarter. Home schooled only child in a bubble, exception for homeschooled would be if they were homeschooled with a large clan.

Progressive/socialist
Supports/would do/does sex work (like OnlyFans or camming)

All of these are Red Flags and instant dealbreakers for me.

I would watch out for shady behavior. If she has a string of crappy jobs, owes people money, is not where she says she is and does not have a plan for her life.

Critical and rude. Disrespectful to the waiters or anyone. Complain about everything. Talk about the lives they've ruined by complaining to HR.
