Is it uncommon as a 23 year old woman I’m not into older men? 30 year old tried to ask me out?

Older men as in no more than 3 or 4 years older than me at the max and this guy who is 30 expressed interest in me, I turn 24 this year fyi but I just rather date someone in my range because I feel like we’re in different places and I do want kids but not till my late 20s or right at 30 as I’m still getting myself together financially and emotionally. I don’t mind a little age gap older or younger as long as the gap isn’t too much.

Honestly it is a bit out of the ordinary. Im 35. My girlfriend is 19. Her friend is my ex friends with benefits. she's 22. A girl i know is 20 and just propositioned me for a relationship she doesn't know i have a girlfriend. From my perspective most girls like significantly older men. My exgf was 10 years younger so 22 when i was 32. I mean young girls seem to just love us older men. That being said all dating attraction for most people is not about a number. If y'all click and find each other hot... is the number going to make or break your relationship? It shouldn't.

He thought I was 20 when he first met me because he said I have a baby face since I wear no makeup and don’t drink or party and also exercise a lot but yeah I guess we follow our hearts. I would date either or an older or younger as long as it’s legal I just like I said would question where we’d be in our lives since he’s in his 30s and I’m in my 20s but some people can definitely make it work. no. being into older men is as common for women as being into younger women is common for men. simply because men and women have different priorities when it comes to procreation which is inherent to their role in the procreation process. and this is of course not a socially constructed thing. that's inherent to how procreation works.

Uncommon? It doesn't matter. You like what you like, and you would prefer to date men closer to your age. There should be plenty of single men say 23 - 27.
