It was mean to say what he said but you have to get over it.
Any insult is unpleasant to some degree but to carry that around for so long... that's on us. We really have to learn to get past it.

That was mean of him. If you want to get over him, avoid him. If you haven’t already, stop seeing him, block his number and social media, purge the text messages, etc. It takes time, but if he’s not in your life eventually you should think of him less.
It's bad you haven't moved on from such a remark. Isn't it good to not resemble the ex?

If I was you I would have smiled and as I was walking out the door I would have said I am over it and you to... if he treats you like this today he will treat you worse tomorrow
I hope you didn't stay with him. Obviously doesn't respect you.
You do need to get over it and find someone new... It is unhealthy to have feelings like that over a long time period.
Women easily get over a breakup, if you can't get over him after a year, it's because he was more valuable than you.
It's not bad, but its not good. Time to move on to better than him.
Yeah it's bad why do y'all women focus on that stupid shit by stupid men
he didn't love you if he said that
