Right now, there’s one girl I would have loved to have dated, but she won’t make any time; so I kinda gave up on that. I’m a little sad over it, because I think if she gave me some time, we could do pretty well together long term. We have a lot of the same hobbies and interests, I dig her intelligence and willingness to learn, we have a similar faith, similar political views, and she’s cute in a way that I’m attracted to. Not drop dead gorgeous, but cute. I like spending time with her. But she’s busy busy busy. If we did get together, that would probably be the one thing that would make us fail.


There are one or two women where I admit it’s mainly looks (and maybe a passing interest in a hobby). But I NEVER see them, never have access to them, and I don’t see that changing, so past being curious, or being attracted, I doubt it’s going to happen… I pretty much have given up hope of anything happening there, even getting to the point of asking them out.

No one is perfect. Few, if any, people change. Keeping both of those truths in mind get to know everything you can about the person. You will find that person that you can spend a lifetime with. I did. We dated for about five years before we got married. We have been a couple for 53 years.

Not at the moment. Honestly, it's been a while since I had someone I even pictured myself dating, or even had a crush on as sad as that sounds.

I guess it's true: when you're single for too long, you get so comfortable, you don't really crave companionship as much anymore.

Honestly I’m not sure. I haven't genuinely had a crush since maybe highschool. I know of multiple girls who like me and I enjoy all of them but I don't know if I like any of them like that. I have absolutely no issues with them I find them all attractive and have great personalities and they mesh with me very well but I don’t know if I’m supposed to feel anything special around them or not.

It's the type of like where you know them personally but you're not dating so you do like them but you know it's not going to work so you try to move on but you know you still like them. Quite the worst

Nope. When I start to like someone I usually either try to avoid them or try to find out about them before I make any decisions and majority of the time the more I find out the more I want to avoid them

Nope. And I doubt I ever will get married. Most of the people I’ve known who were married have gone through at least one divorce and they were very unhappy in their marriage and regretted the decision.
