So just because he hasn't asked about the place? Being that it's just coffee, he may not think it's important. As in, you'll just go where ever you both want to go at the time. But if you'd prefer to know, just ask him now. Or suggest something yourself.

He asked me out weeks ago when his leg was still broken. On march.

Then on April because of ramadan we decided that we’re going to take a break from texting/chatting for a whole month. we’re both muslims.

After ramadan he reached out to me. We catched up etc but didn’t talked about the date. We did talk about his leg and how he can walk now. I got sad and confused when he didn’t schedule our date: Then I asked the next day if he’s still on to grab a coffee or has he changed his mind. That’s when he said ” yes I do want to grab a coffee soon. Earlier I was just making small talk because we hadn’t talked for a while.

I guess just see how the date goes and how he acts. You'll get a better idea then by his body language, mood etc if he sees it as a "date" or more of a friend thing. I think that's what you're questioning right? Just see how it goes in person.

It's hard to say, he could think you think the same way? I don't know Muslim religion, but a month of no talking isn't good regardless so it's hard to say what he's thinking. I wouldn't assume anything though if he's still willing to get together. Just see how he acts in person. That will tell you more.
