I had a male Starbucks guy tell me his age during our first convo, they are paid to flirt cause it increases their customer count, my friend was also flirted with when she went to Starbucks by a male Starbucks guy.
As my second job I work part-time as a cashier. I Treat and greet EVERYONE with MULTIPLE extra spoonfuls of Sugar and spice and everything ever so NICE! I do so by all and every means possible and yes that includes FLIRTING smiling and even winking. Am I attracted to every customer I'm pixie dusting? No. Are there some customers I consider eyecandy? Absolutely! If I step it up any it's really not by much. I need to be as dulcet with one customer as am with another. As I dont want to upset any customers. I need to appear as impartial as possible. Now if no one is at ear shot I may toss in if it isn't our favor customer? But honestly I say that many customers even if its FAR from the truth. See most receipts print out our names or workers ID number and at the bottom it'll ask how did "so and so" treat you today? Enter this code at our website and leave a review for a chance to win $500 gift card to our store"

Now with this said I can't quite make judgments on your appearance or your suaveness. What I can recommend is make note if you get just as many compliments or flirtatious women doting over you when you're in other locations that do not involve your money or your business then you know its you.
Now if it is just one cashier who was flirtatious then the odds might be a little more on your side. You can attempt to gently flirt back. But if she's anything like I am and I sense that the customers getting ahead of themselves and Im actually NOT interested I quickly mentioned a husband or a boyfriend to cool down.

It's easy to manipulate lonely dejected communists out of their money. She's working for tips... Commies are just so fucking lonely they can't pick up on that. It's why they gravitate toward communitarianism, they shop at companies like Starbucks because they think it is popular and they'd love to be popular, they lose money to BLM con men, and why they always fall for honeypots on hidden camera on channels like Project Veritas. Comies are weak, and it's easy to see that they are a mark that someone can take advantage of.
I've hooked up with my bartender, pizza place employee, and the girl that does my hair. So I'm not one to just say, they're just flirting because it's their job.
But at Starbucks. a lot of them flirt because it brings customers in and if you become a regular that's more money for the store. That said, doesn't mean some don't like you.

If it's just barristas doing this, then likely it's because they're being polite and cheerful. It's their job to be polite and cheerful.
If a lot of women do that when they're not working in service industries, then it's because they find you attractive.
I would say because it's their job, I'm not saying that it's their job to "flirt" but it is their job to withhold customer happiness. so they will always be as friendly as they can and also that can get them a better tip. So not saying they dont care because being confined in one area for so long you would at least try to make the most of it so talking to customers is how they can pass the time.
Maybe you're attractive. I will say tho as a former Barista, I made customers feel good about themselves by being super nice because it made me happy seeing them smile. Plus, not only was it literally required of us to connect with customers... I wanted tips lol.
I didn't read any other comments on this one but I can only imagine they are pretty funny. I want/hope this is more of a funny, joking post. If it's not, you should go to the strip club. You would lose your mind. I have never met but whenever I'm in a strip club they are always looking for you. It's nuts. Oh, which one you ask? My answer is Yes. It doesn't matter with all the details, right. Crazy enough, all the girls in all the strip clubs are looking for you.
Because they're working in the service industry and flirting with you is literally their job.
It's called "customer service" and it is for tips. It is not because they're into you.
