This is a question for women who draw on paper and digital tablets, and play video games, and collect figures and reference books, and tweak computers, and watch anime and scifi-fantasy movies, and otherwise immerse themselves into their nerdy hobbies indoors.

What's a guy gotta do to meet that sort of woman? You are usually home during your free time, so I would think over the internet in some form, but where? Online gaming lobbies? Game forums? Discord groups? Deviant Art? Dating sites? Whats actually prefered? Where would you actually look for mr right? Where should he be looking to find you?

I honestly put my self a rule by now not to go out with anyone from the online, If I meet them out side and we hit it then find out we know each outher from online that is fine
But I will not meet from the online personally

I excpect il meet them in a bar, in an event of a friend, work, on the way, gaming/anime/sci-fi convention and so on

Excluding online cuts out 99.999999999999999999999999999999999% of men who fit the same hobby/interests description as the type of women I mentioned.

Most nerds/geeks don't go to bars because we don't drink any alcohol, or events of friends because we hate large crowds, and most locations dont even have cons, which really aren't great places to meet people tbh because its a very public and regulated sort of event with tons of people, and thats pretty bad for flirting or making friends.

Small country, the cons here are around 1-² hours away except maybe if you dont have a car and live in place with rare buses

Just because someone enjoy activity outside as well
And I dont do them too often but I do
And I did not say go out on a date in the con just meetup :) first time and stuff)
The con is packed full with geeks/nerds I mean hell its pretty much all that are there except someone that mestikenly walked in (in the free one)
I made a lots of friends in cons its a center to people with same interest and my fav con here is a free to enter pay for activity if you want created and manged by geeks and nerds volunteers
Some areas are packed some areas are more calm
And personally I dont think a lock in type is any definition of a nerd or a geek
Its something else that is cast on us
I honestly not big on crowds only go to more cam bars or a gaming bar in less active hours when I can with friends (Much less in a nowmal bar)

Anyway mostly give it as examples basically I meet people I go out with in the outside can be a walk in the park, can be while doing a free running

I rarely leave the house, there is only 1 con here, and it's only once a year, but its not close by, and everything I enjoy doing is indoors.

I don't like drawing anywhere but home because I don't like idea theft, I don't like gaming anywhere but home because thats where my save data is and I'm not lugging around a heavy pc, we don't have gaming bars here, but I don't drink alcohol anyway and won't date someone who does, and the arcades are mostly just kids and parents, and I'm not interested in single moms. I really don't have anywhere outside thats worth going to for hangout reasons.

I'm also not the type to go out for a run, I burn enough calories just sitting to stay thin.

By the way will say I know plany of guys that go out and are 100% geeks and nerds.. your 99..999999999 stat is honestly wayyy off
Anyway guess then sadly I can't really provide you with a good answer as I am not like you and the way you prefer to live
Even if we both have same interest in some stuff

I just don't know.. staying home so much sounds to me unhealth for the brain over all, traveling in games is good, but I do think its important to go out once in a while
Bars are not just about alcohol.. I honestly can't bear its taste, I just drink water or coke there most times, its just about the company you with to chat and talk with
