I’m uncomfortable around my boyfriend because he only talks about himself. I’m not sure he’s aware of this but how do I get over this?

My boyfriend is a local upcoming rapper & only talks about his projects. He’s alone 5 days a week but he only talks about his project updates when he texts me, and what’s he’s done, almost obsessively. If I turn the convo at all about something else and talk about myself or something else that I did that day, he always goes straight back to himself. He’s just almost obsessed with his stuff. I’m always supporting him and he sends me a heart and kiss each night but feel like it’s all I do? We have quality time 2x a week but it’s just really quick and we watch Netflix. Also, he never wants to come do something with me unless it involves himself or his music on weekends. Like for example, I’ll invite him on weekend outings but he never ever wants to come and wants to work on his music instead and be alone inside all day. No disturbances. He will run errands with me tho only if we go to music stores or when he has a sliver of free time like for coffee in week. I just feel like im not a priority? He’s a really nice guy it’s just getting insane. How can I tell him this without being a pain? I don’t want to bother him or take time from his music as it’s what he does & loves but I don't know what to do. How can I address this? by the way I’m really shy. Thanks 4 help
