Does this guy care about me?

I've been feeling like ending it all this week and put up a status saying "my absence has never significantly affected anyone". To which this guy who I haven't talked to in forever replied saying "may not be true..."

I know it's stupid, but does this person really care about me or is just concerned at my statuses. I immediately took it down to not seem like I was seeking attention.
