Would you say that dark haired folks are usually into light haired ones and vice versa?

An example:
I, as a pale skinned blonde with green eyes, usually attract dark haired, often brown eyed men... even though I'd personally ideally prefer someone who is like me (pale and blonde with light eyes).

It's kind of an opposites attract thing.

Do you think there may be a connection, something true about this? Did you notice this "thing" is quite frequent in couples?

They not total opposite if they both white, but people pay more attention to skin color than to hair color and eye color, someone with blond hair and blue eyes is the ideal white look.
